'Separation' Event 7-2

Charlie ran looking for someone by the name of “Spencer” of team Fossil Buddies. He decided to do some asking around to see if anyone knew who they were, or what they were, and found out they were an Archen. Charlie, having a hard time finding them, decided to elevate above the crowd using his tails. “Spencer!!” He called out spinning through the air.

He then caught the glimpse of the bird as he got pulled into the crowd. “Spencer!!” He shouted descending in elevation.

Spencer, hearing his words, looked up and saw the Buizel. “Huh?”

As Charlie landed he said, “I have a letter for you, sir.” He said, but a lot of mons were pushing him around by others.

After they got away from the mass, Charlie said, “Here you go.” He handed the letter to Spencer who opened it to ascertain that it was his.

“Awesome!! Thanks!” He said as he held the letter tight. Charlie, smiling that he’s doing good, picked up another lose letter and continued running around delivering them.


Rez was running around looking for someone by the name of “Kira from Team Starbound” and “Gem from Team Crystal”. Rez began looking around, not knowing what they looked like, but did call out for both. As he was looking around, something caught his eye to see what looked like an Eevee flying. He began to ponder on the fact of how, unaware that the “Flying Eevee” Was moving at him. All of a sudden, “BAM!” The Eevee hit Rez in the head, knocking him over and making him drop his letters. “Ow,” Rez said as he began to lift up.

He saw a Charmander run at him saying, “Oh my gosh, are you ok?” He simply nodded. The Charmander went to the Eevee, intending to tell her to apologize, and saw she was reading her letter in a strange way.

Rez noticed this and said, “So you, Kira…”

“Yep!” Kira said on her back reading the paper. Rez was a little irritated from the initial meeting, but sighed it off.

“I’m Gem,” the Charmander said with a smile. Rez widened his eyes and gave the letter to her. “What’s th-,” she gasped and said, “MY LETTER! Oh thank you!” Rez smiled and stood up. He nodded and walked off to deliver more, rubbing his head.

“That is by far the most random thing that’s happened to me…,” he said picking up other letters, “Oh well, could have been worse.”


Meanwhile, Rino was making a run he knew he would possibly regret. He was heading to Team Recyclers. It was a team he knew, so locating them wasn’t a problem. Rino didn’t see him in the crowd and said, “Hm…where are those 2…” He then smelled the air and covered his nose. “Yep…found them…” He then held his breath and followed the scent.

He found the Grimer, Troy, and Gulpin, Shad, sitting down talking to each other, both mourning about they’re missing partner, Kyra. He decided he would want to do this quick and too a breath of clean air before heading to them. “Hey guys,” he said quickly, conserving air.

“Oh, hey.” Troy said happily, then saw the letters, “Hey is that-?”

“Yes,” Rino quickly said to finish the sentence and hand the letter to them.

“Hey, Troy! Don’t get it dirty, I want to read it too!” Shad said as he looked at the letter as well. This gave Rino an opportunity. He turned his head and took in some air, trying to make sure they didn’t notice.

“I’ll catch ya later!” Rino said as he ran off. He then took a large amount of air in as he returned his breathing to normal.


He looked at the last letter he had in his hand, who was registered to Everheart, an Eevee and a faithful friend. He smiled, “Ah, EH. Good for me.”

Rino darted for the house with the letter, knowing exactly where Everheart, or EH, as he calls him, was at home. Rino knocked on the door, anxiously with the letter and as Everheart opened it, they smiled at each other. “Sup, EH?” Rino opened.

“Hey Rino,” Everheart responded. He noticed the letter and began to perk up and asked, “That’s Ember’s?” Rino gave his answer by nodding, and Everheart smiled with joy. “Awesome! Wait, she’s blind how did she…doesn’t matter. She’s safe!” Rino gave Everheart the letter, and Everheart quickly began reading it, but from the face expression, it wasn’t good news. Everheart looked lowered the letter after reading it and began to look in deep thought and depression.

“What happened?” Rino asked curiously, worried about his friend.

Everheart didn’t respond, or couldn’t respond at all. He just stood there for a moment, and finally said, “I got to go…” He then closed the door.

Rino began walking from the house and wondered to himself, “Man… what the hell was in that letter. Whatever it was…”

“Rino!” He heard a voice yell his name to see it was Charlie and Bryce.

Rino ran over to ask, “All the letters are delivered?”

Charlie nodded and said, “All but Okane base’s.” Rez held up 2 envelopes that had both his and Rino’s name on it. Charlie had the others.

“Alright, that was pretty fast,” Rino said smiling. “Come on. Let’s head home to see what’s up. I’m sorta worried.”
